At the event, Lead Intelligent Equipment (hereafter referred to as LEAD), a global leader in new energy intelligent equipment solutions, announced the establishment of the LEAD “Warm Light” Charity Fund with an initial investment of RMB 30 million. This initiative aims to extend LEAD’s care and support to a broader community, bringing warmth and hope to those in need.
Over the past 25 years, under the leadership of Chairman Wang Yanqing, LEAD has remained committed to its philanthropic vision of “Manufacturing for Good.” While driving global green energy transformation and sustainable development through intelligent manufacturing, LEAD has never wavered in its dedication to giving back to society.
In 2017, LEAD established the Wang Yanqing Education Scholarship Fund with an initial endowment of RMB 10 million at Jiangsu Xishan Senior High School to inspire students in pursuing their dreams. Since 2021, the company has set up the Wang Yanqing Scholarship at Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Southeast University, and other top institutions, contributing hundreds of thousands of RMB annually to support promising students financially. In 2022, Chairman Wang Yanqing personally donated RMB 20 million to public health initiatives. Additionally, LEAD has actively supported the Wuxi-Yan’an City Partnership Program, extending assistance to underprivileged and left-behind children in Yichuan, Yan’an, through tangible actions that reflect its corporate social responsibility.
The establishment of the LEAD “Warm Light” Charity Fund marks another significant step in the company’s commitment to philanthropy and social contribution. Moving forward, the fund will focus on charitable initiatives, scientific research, education, rural revitalization, and environmental sustainability—key areas that align with national and societal development priorities, where new energy enterprises like LEAD can leverage their strengths to make a meaningful impact.
At the event, Wang Yanqing, Chairman of LEAD, stated:
